L’Austria perde il ricorso contro Hinkley Point C

La Corte di Giustizia Europea ha rigettato il ricorso intentato dall’Austria contro il governo del Regno Unito per il finanziamento del progetto di centrale nucleare Hinkley Point C, che a detta dell’Austria si configurava come aiuto di stato inammissibile secondo le norme europee. La Corte ha invece dato ragione al Regolatore per la Concorrenza della UE, che aveva stabilito che gli aiuti ad Hinkley Point C erano in linea con le norme comunitarie. L’Austria, uno dei Paesi europei che più ostinatamente si oppone all’energia nucleare, aveva intentato una causa simile contro l’ammodernamento della centrale nucleare ungherese di Paks, anche allora senza successo.
