The European Nuclear Young Generation Forum (ENYGF) is a biannual conference held by the European Nuclear Society Young Generation (ENS YGN) together with the European Nuclear Society (ENS), and hosted by an ENS member country. The purpose of ENYGF is to uphold ENS YGN values and objectives by creating a foundation and a forum gathering our members under the same roof.
The first Forum was launched 2005 in Zagreb, Croatia. At that time it was a small gathering of young professionals. In 2013 ENYGF reached an international status, gathering audience from all over the world and breaking all previous records.
The previous event was held in Manchester in 2017 with the theme “Innovation a rich heritage and a bright future”, with over 350 delegates attending from over 30 different countries across the European nuclear industry and internationally, and including from students to PhDs, researchers and young professionals of the nuclear sector. The week-long programme included over 70 expert speakers, interactive workshops and a choice of 15 technical tours to sites around the UK. And, it was rounded off with extensive networking opportunities through formal and informal social and cultural events. You can find more information of what happened at ENYGF2017 on Youtube.
